What is the UK Carbon Fund?
The UK Carbon Fund provides funding for projects that are specifically designed to reduce carbon production in the UK. The initial fund value is £10 million of which the first tranche of £2million has been authorised for allocation to qualifying projects by the end of 2020.

Funding Criteria
Prospective projects must:
Be a UK businesses, organisation or registered charity.
Have a clear, credible and definable plan for reducing carbon.
Use accredited technologies that have been shown to be effective in reducing carbon.
Be able to evidence the ongoing carbon reduction program results.
Initial applications are open from 1st September 2020 until the 31st December 2020
Initial applications for funding must be made through accredited organisations who have significant experience in this field and have demonstrated the delivery and ongoing management of carbon reduction programs.
